VITRAIS

Jazz / Bossa Nova / MPB

Lisa Kalil’s debut album is a nominee for the 16th Independent Music Awards (Debut Album category) and presents her own compositions along with Brazilian popular music, performed in a Jazzy and Bossa feel and uncovers original MPB music features and values while showing an innovative style to the global music scene.

In Vitrais, one of the songs is a partnership with American jazz pianist Danny Mixon (Charles Mingus, Betty Carter) .   “When Jobim Smiles”, was recorded in collaboration in NY and in Sao Paulo.

This album is the result of a successful crowdfunding campaign at Kickante (Brazilian Kickstarter), as an collective effort to support independent art and music.
